Chrome Requiem

A 2D side-scrolling cyberpunk co-op action roguelite. Descend the shaft, kill everything, extract before it kills you. Prototype build — expect rough edges.

Linux
ChromeRequiem-latest-linux.zip
DOWNLOAD →~314 MB

64-bit only. No installer — it's a folder you unzip and run.

Install

  1. Unzip the archive into its own folder — keep every file together. The game loads the .pck content packs sitting next to the runtime.
  2. Windows: run ChromeRequiem.exe.
    Linux: run ./ChromeRequiem.x86_64.
  3. It updates itself from then on — every launch checks this channel and downloads only what changed (usually a couple of MB, not the whole game).
Windows SmartScreen will warn once, because the build isn't code-signed: More info → Run anyway. Self-updates after that are written by the game itself and don't trigger it again.
Linux: if your unzip tool dropped the executable bit, run chmod +x ChromeRequiem.x86_64 once. The in-game updater restores it itself on later updates.
